The Gathering 2026 Conference Highlights

The Gathering 2026 Annual Conference was held in Carlsbad, CA. The Gathering is a community of givers who seek to grow in our effectiveness as philanthropists, in the leadership of our families, and in the maturity of our Christian faith. We hope to steward wisely all the resources that God has entrusted to our care, from our donations and investments to our families and our influence. We are a sounding board of trusted peers, and we relish inviting thinkers and practitioners to help stretch our imaginations for how we might join God’s work. Here is a video that shares a little more as well. Video credit: Shorman Creative

A Peace Profound

I think it was long-time Chaplain of the Senate Dick Halverson who said, “In the beginning the church was a fellowship of men and women centering on the living Christ. Then the church moved to Greece, where it became a philosophy. Then it moved to Rome, where it became an institution. Next it moved to Europe where it became a culture, and, finally, it moved to America where it became an enterprise.”
